Weymouth Dance Festival 2018

Date: 1st November 2018

Dear Emilie

I just wanted to say how much Poppy enjoyed the whole festival
experience. She really enjoyed all the rehearsals and never once
muttered she didn’t want to go. The actual festival she loved and
soon as she saw me in the dressing room after Backstreet asked me
she could do it all again next year. It all felt like such a team
effort with you, the crew and the girls and I know how much they
enjoy dancing with you. Thank you for all your hard work and for
Poppy’s first festival experience such an enjoyable one.

Best wishes

Ann Collins

Dear Miss Emilie, we just wanted to say a big thank you for such a great festival. Niamh has enjoyed competing and as a dancer and a little person learnt and developed so much. You and the older students have been amazing at organising, rehearsing, preparing and keeping it all in shape with a sense of “fun”, I’m not sure how today will feel without dance! But wanted you to know how much we appreciate all you do, thank you, have a lovely weekend
Love Team Roff x

We all just wanted to say that we all enjoyed ourselves last week; and it was another great festival. Also, thank you and your family for all your help and hard work.

Welmdar Fundraiser Event – Dorchester

Date: 20th November 2017

Hi Emilie

Linda & I just want to thank you so much for arranging for your girls to perform last night. They were simply outstanding, and everyone was impressed by their three performances. Please pass on our thanks to them all. They were a real credit to your school and themselves, not just by the standard of their performance, but in the way they supported the whole event, and the maturity in the way in which they conducted themselves throughout the evening. They were supportive of each other, and also supported and encouraged the other acts appearing in the show. You should be proud of them all. They are just a lovely, polite group of girls, who have an obvious passion for dance, but were all so willing to work with us to overcome technical problems on the night. It was a real pleasure to work with them – Hopefully we can do something else together in the future.

Weymouth Dance Festival 2016

Date: 7th December 2016

You are such an amazing teacher and a great talent! Teared up few times watching kids perform! You nailed it this year. Massive congratulations to your hardwork and vision. Have been listening to “Beggin” on iTunes ever since. Joy White: Senior Parent

Dear miss Emilie, thank you so much for all your effort and hard work. Niamh loved it, all the studio members were a real credit to you and just so proud of them all, we are very lucky to have you. Alison Roff: Senior Parent

Thank you so much once again for all your hard work for Festival, and for supporting Anna through it. She enjoyed the whole experience immensely, it is so important for youngsters, and I really appreciate the amount of effort required and also what they gain from it.  Anna loves her dance, and particularly dance with The Studio! Sally Stell: Senior Parent

Congrats with the festival performance. Issy was really chuffed. A great life lesson that with the right attitude ‎and hard work results can follow. Well done for you. Phil Holdcroft: Senior Parent

A big thank you from Meadow and us for all the hard work you put into the festival. It was clear the kids all loved it and we (as first timers) had a very positive experience! It is only when you see the dances ‘for real’ that you really appreciate all the effort that goes in- you are amazing!! Meadow is already talking about next year! Cheryl Noble: Junior Parent

I just wanted to say a huge thank you for all the hard work you put into festival! We all looked amazing with your beautiful costumes and we all appreciate so much the attention, time and effort that you spend on each individual during the whole process. I had a really enjoyable and memorable last festival, and thats mostly thanks to your smooth running of it 🙂 Thank you so much again. Charlotte Allen: Premier Student

I would like to thank you for all the hard work you put in for the festival. Ava was really happy that her group came second. They looked fantastic and Ava had a great time. Solo next year maybe!!! Dan Keogh: Junior Parent

I hope you had a nice festival and feel a sense of real achievement! They all did so so well and were a real credit to you! The big girls were wonderful and such good role models which can only come from you! Helen Sanders: Junior Parent

General Appreciation

Date: 22nd June 2016

A big thank you for teaching my child so well. I found my daughter watching some dance shows looking at the choreography and the dancing very critically and explaining in no uncertain terms why she enjoys the discipline and perfectionism of dancing with you. I hadn’t realised how much theory you manage to include about movement, being healthy and all sorts. She is now thinking abut a degree in life sciences, anyway this is just a big thank you from a very grateful parent. Pauline Bishop: Premier Parent

You are great dance tutor and provide such inspiration for Eva. Lisa Rickman: Junior Parent

Teaching at Bird College of Performing Arts – London

Dear Emilie
Today I received a message from an acquaintance of Bill Deamer who is currently directing Top Hat and, at the last bout of recalls for the show, out of 50 people, 46 were our graduates! Bill, who I believe is not known for his generosity in giving compliments within the industry said that “Birds is producing the best tappers out of all of the colleges”. I would like to pass on my congratulations and appreciation to you, this is a huge compliment from a very reputable icon within the industry.
Nick French – Head of Musical Theatre and Tap Bird College – London

End of Term Display at The Ocean Room, Weymouth

“I just wanted to put into writing what a truly lovely, festive and family friendly day it was on Sunday. Josie thoroughly enjoyed herself and only wished she was partaking in other lessons!!!! It was so nice to relax and enjoy the performances in a less formal manner. Josie felt very special and all feedback we’ve had from the family and friends who attended with us have been equally appreciative. A lovely venue enabling so many people to see there little ones without worrying about where to sit!!! I’m so glad we chose such a caring and inspiring dance school. Thank you and we hope all at The Studio have a lovely Christmas and New Year.” Michelle, Matt, Josie and William Stokey

“What a lovely day. It was nice to see the children who were not only very entertaining but also so well behaved. We loved hearing Hannah singing and we are all now looking forward to the summer show – I dread to think what the excitement levels will be then. Well done to all. You must have been exhausted by the end.” Margaret Cosh

“Dear Miss Emilie, Thank you for such a lovely day, you must be so proud of your wonderful students and your school.” Rosie and Claire Gordon
