Our Voice Craft class completes our triple threat status, creating a school that can dance, sing and act connectively and though many of our voice students are also dancers we welcome those who are interetsed purely in the enjoyment of singing. Voice Craft will help build your vocal capability through a range of voice craft exercises and training techniques. We will work together on a variety of repertoire including pop and musical theatre, rehearsing and performing a selection of songs term by term.
We follow the training techniques of ‘Voice Craft’ created by American voice experts famous for that spine tingling Broadway sound. It understands the voice firstly as and instrument which if used and understood correctly, will emulate a dramatic range of sounds from stylised pop through to classical opera and, secondly as a muscle which can be strengthened and conditioned in order to create a powerful and supported voice that is suitable to the stage of development of the individual.
Students of our Voice Craft class will enjoy numerous performance opportunities throughout the year.
